SecurExchange Solves Corporate Email Compliance Needs Today

New Reseller Partners Confirm Customers Are Demanding Advanced Compliance Functionality Now and Cannot Wait for Exchange 2007

Ottawa, Canada - June 26, 2006 - Nemx Software, leaders in active email control solutions, today announced full availability of comprehensive compliance capabilities in its current SecurExchange product release. Nemx also announces the addition of two new partners to the SecurExchange Authorized Reseller program - PPM Associates and Contego Information Security Solutions.

Organizations today are recognizing it is no longer sufficient to manage corporate compliance and risk by monitoring the relatively small percentage of email that enters or leaves the organization. Leading industry analyst firms have verified that internal email traffic (i.e. between employees) outnumbers all other messages by a factor of eight to one. Comprehensive corporate compliance strategies require a proactive policy enforcement effort aimed at preventing compliance violations, not merely identifying and reporting them, to truly protect organizations from costly litigation, business risks and liability. Nemx SecurExchange enables organizations to ensure total corporate policy compliance by proactively monitoring the content and attachments of every email message, including internal email.

"Microsoft's recent announcements about the focus on compliance functionality as it relates to internal messaging in Microsoft Exchange 2007 is great news for Nemx," says John Young, president of Nemx Software Corporation. "For Microsoft to recognize this need only adds to the credibility of our SecurExchange product strategy and validates the importance of this functionality for customers of every size. Every compliance-related feature announced for Exchange 2007 from restricting email delivery between groups of employees to policy-based automatic archiving are mature features which are already available in SecurExchange Corporate Edition. And we've been offering on-demand encryption email for nearly a year, so advanced compliance features are available today, with no need to wait for a new version of Exchange."

Two new SecurExchange resellers confirm that Nemx's ability to deliver on both compliance and internal email monitoring requirements now are major reasons in their decision to add SecurExchange to their product portfolios.

PPM Associates, based in Reading Massachusetts with operations in California, Colorado, New Jersey and Texas, joined the SecurExchange Authorized Reseller program in response to customer demand for sophisticated compliance solutions they could implement now. "PPMA has many Exchange Server customers that simply can't wait another two or more years to address their email compliance requirements with Exchange 2007. Several customers have already told us they do not plan to undertake an expensive migration to Exchange 2007, which requires a 64-bit platform, any time soon, even once it is released.  SecurExchange meets our customers' immediate needs for compliance enforcement and best of all it is compatible with all their current versions of Exchange," said Paul Mercandetti, President.

Contego Information Security Solutions a leading security solutions VAR, headquartered in Toronto, Canada with offices in Montreal and Calgary, also recently joined the SecurExchange Authorized Reseller program.  "We instantly recognized SecurExchange's seamless integration with existing Microsoft Exchange Server releases and its ability to implement and enforce corporate content policies on internally circulating email traffic differentiates it from any other solution," stated Tony Fairclough, president of Contego. "This makes SecurExchange an ideal solution to compliment the in/outbound appliance monitoring solutions Contego offers and enables us to provide our customers with the most complete and comprehensive email compliance and security solution available."

SecurExchange Features
SecurExchange Corporate Edition includes, among many other features, the following compliance-related capabilities:

    • any combination of the above
  • Selective archiving, complete email messages or just metadata to any Exchange folder, SQL or ODBC-compliant database using senders, recipients, subject or content as the criteria
