Address Filtering for Exchange Server

Many spam and pornographic emails share several patterns in the "From" and "To" address lines of the messages. Spam Manager uses address filtering to check the addresses specified in the message envelope. Messages coming from or going to the Internet can then be deleted, monitored or quarantined for further inspection.

Offering high reliability and low administration costs, address filtering includes:

  • Monitoring messages arriving from or leaving to particular email address domains or sub domains (e.g. *Ottawa.nemx.com)
  • Country- and company-wide Domain Filtering (e.g. *nemx.com and *.ca)
  • Address Importing
  • Regular Expression pattern matching using wild cards
  • Group-based inclusions or exclusions from rules such as defining different rules for your Accounting and R&D departments, or adding extra limitations for temporary or student employees
