SecurExchange - > How To
Defining Exchange IMF / SCL Thresholds for different groups of users?
With Nemx SecurExchange IMF Manager you can assign different Spam Confidence Level (SCL) thresholds and corresponding actions based on membership within an Active Directory Group or Exchange distribution list. This way sensitive users can have spam email deleted, while critical users can have there messages moved to a separate folder.
For this example based on an education environment, you want:
all messages with a SCL of 8 or more to be deleted
messages with a SCL of 4-7 addressed to staff to be moved to a folder
messages with a SCL of 4-7 addressed to students to be deleted
Define an Action Handler for Move to Folder:
On the Actions tab, click the Spam and Content Actions
Click Add
In the Action Name field, Move to Folder - Medium SCL
In the Message Modifications section, enable Move to SubFolder and enter a folder name
Click Ok
Define the SCL Thresholds:
