Content Manager
Content Manager lets you quickly and easily define rules to monitor the content of outgoing, incoming, and internal messages and their attachments for violations in corporate policy, offensive language or security implications. Once triggered, the message can be deleted, quarantined, forwarded to another user for review, appropriately categorized or handled by a variety of other means by SecurExchange's Smart Action Trigger technology. The Content Manager component is one piece of SecurExchange's Intelligent Content Analysis component for Exchange Server.
To maximize accuracy, Content Manager employs Heuristic Pattern Matching to find camouflaged statements such as "exciting!!!mortgage!!!offer!!!" It also allows different rules to apply differently to any individual or group of users, such as setting different limitations for student or temporary employees, or defining different rules for your Accounting and R&D departments. In addition, Content Manager plays a key role in protecting against harassment lawsuits and corporate espionage from within your organization as well as from without, by allowing you to control the file type and content of emails passing from employee to employee.
Offering increased consistency and reliability, Content Manager employs three forms of advanced content filtering:
